咸阳非金属矿研究设计院有限公司始建于1963年，现隶属国资委中国建材集团有限公司，是一所面向国内外从事非金属矿产品试验研究、工程咨询、工程设计、装备制造、标准制订、质量检测、先进非金属矿物材料销售及工程总承包的高新技术企业。公司建有非金属矿系列装备、摩擦材料、密封材料、非金属矿粉体试验生产基地，拥有全国非金属矿产品及制品标准化技术委员会（下辖摩擦材料、鳞片石墨、微晶石墨、人造石墨、黏土与黏土矿物5个分技术委员会）、国家非金属矿中小企业公共服务平台等多个技术平台。先后承担了国家重点研发计划、国家科技支撑计划、2025工业强基等百余项重大科研项目，获国家、省部级奖项60余项，专利50余项，制修订各类标准500余项。
